Bridgetown is nestled in the picturest Blackwood Valley which the Blackwood River meanders through. Predominantly agriculture based Bridgetown is a popular tourist destination as it is virtually in the middle of the South West region. Central to Forests and National Parks, Bridgetown is also known as the hub of the southwest. The town was recognised as a Heritage Town in 2000. If the conference serves to be your first visit to this area it will no doubt be a memorable one due to this magic and tranquil location.
